Professor Doug Navarick Memorial Excellence in Psychological Research Award

Amount: $100 
Established by: The Department of Psychology
Open to: Psychology undergraduate and graduate students who are involved in research.
Criteria: Outstanding performance in developing and conducting original research activities, that provide a significant contribution to the field of psychology.  
Up to two awards may be given (one undergraduate and one graduate) for the outstanding contributions to a current or original research project. This can be done independently by the student or in collaboration with a research lab. The student contributions need to be clear and substantial to the research process.  
Application Procedure: An application letter addressed to the Honors & Awards Committee, supporting evidence (e.g., student CV), transcripts, and a letter from a supporting faculty should be submitted.  Additionally, students need to provide proof of engagement with the research: Undergraduate students need to provide a copy of a presented conference poster, and graduate students need to present their research via a short video (5-7 minutes).  All application materials should be submitted to the psychology department office.
