Hi there! My name is Jess, and I am a current graduate student in the Counseling Department and am beginning my experience with seeing clients in practicum! This is my 11th semester with Peer Mentors. I hope to pursue a career in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to hopefully work in victim advocacy, bereavement, and death counseling and work on reentry teams for offenders being released from the prison system. Additionally, I would love to become a professor of psychology! I can best assist in Abnormal (341), Intermediate Statistics (300), Sensation and Perception (303), Cognitive Psych (305), other upper-division psychology courses, graduate school prep questions, and other psychology questions. Hi everyone. My name is Sydney and I am a first year graduate student in the M.S. Clinical Psychology program. This is my sixth semester with the psychology peer mentors. Andrew Lane Andrew Lane (He/Him)

Hi there!! My name is Andrew Lane and I am a senior graduating this spring with a major in psychology and a minor in adolescent development. This will be my second semester as a peer mentor. I hope to get into grad school for a school counseling degree to help students succeed. Some of my hobbies include going to the gym, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends around campus. My specialties are PSYC 311, PSYC 317, PSYC 305, PSYC 302, PSYC 331, and PSYC 351, and I can also help with lower division classes as well as PSYC 300, PSYC 495, and APA formatting. Hello my name is Paola Cotto. I am a Senior psychology student. I am interested in going into the i/o psychology field to pursue a career in human resources management. This is my second semester as a peer mentor.  I am also currently the administrative assistant for the Latinx Psychology Student Association (LSPA) and lead a psychological research study here at CSUF. Hi! My name is Madison Rudow and I am a third-year Psychology student with a minor in Chicano/a/x Studies. This is my first semester as a Peer Mentor and I am so excited to see what it has to offer. My career goals include going to graduate school, gaining my Marriage and Family Licensure, and working with the interpersonal relationships within families. Areas that I could best assist would include courses in Abnormal, Learning and Memory, Industrial and Organizational, Developmental, and Critical Thinking Psychology. Hi! My name is Ana Perez, and I am a senior Psychology student. This is my last semester as an undergrad so I am very excited to be joining Peer Mentors. I hope to get into grad school in order to pursue my goal of working in the I/O psych field as a consultant or work in Human Resources. During my time at CSUF I have had experience as an undergraduate course assistant, and I have participated as a research assistant under the guidance of Dr. Emily Cheng. Hi everyone! My name is Aleida, but Ale is perfectly fine, too. I am a senior psychology student looking forward to graduating this spring in May. Hey y’all! My name is Katelyn and this is my first semester as a peer mentor, but I am also the membership coordinator of PDSA! I’m a psychology major and am graduating this spring with hopes to further my education in an M.S. Clinical Psychology program. I am a research assistant in Dr. Lisa Mori’s lab and have prior experience in another research lab, so I can assist with advice towards joining clubs, research labs, and other extracurriculars on campus. Hello! My name is Alisa, and I am a current undergraduate psychology major with this being my first semester as a peer mentor. This is the final semester of my bachelor’s degree and I recently completed applications for MSW programs. I currently work as a drug and alcohol counselor and hope to complete graduate school to focus greater on mental health issues in the community. Hi everyone!! My name is Ambrose Bith, and I graduated from CSUF with a bachelor’s in Psychology last semester. I am a part of the Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Lab as well as the Q-Lab on campus. I am currently applying to grad school for a PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Neuropsychology. My ultimate ambition is to become a University Professor. During my free time, I like to hang out with my cat, read, and crochet. In the future, I hope to become a marriage and family therapist and hopefully work in either a hospital setting or private practice.
