Academics

The Psychology Department at CSUF offers a wide array of classes and undergraduate and graduate degree programs to meet the needs of Fullerton students.

UNDERGRADUATE

Bachelor of Arts: With over 2,300 students, Psychology is one of the most popular majors on campus.  The Psyc major requires 41 units of coursework in addition to general education.

Minor:   Those wishing to complete a course of study in Psychology in combination with another major can declare a Psychology minor, which requires 21 units of classes.

General Education and University Electives:   Psychology courses meet GE and elective requirements for any major at CSUF.

 Master of Arts 

The M.A. program in psychological research prepares students to go on to doctoral programs or pursue careers in teaching and research.  It requires 36 units of coursework.

Master of Science

The M.S. program in clinical psychology prepares students either to go on for a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology, or to obtain licensure as an MFT or LPCC clinician.  It requires 60 units of coursework.
